Forty years selling bowling balls taught me one thing. A customer who feels stuck never comes back. So here's how getting your money back works.
If you only read this
- Each book: 15 days, every bit of your money, no questions.
- Membership: cancel in the 7 free days and it costs you nothing.
- Unsubscribing doesn't stop the payment. Cancelling does.
- Money goes back to the card or PayPal you used.
Fifteen days, no questions
How long do I have to change my mind about a book?
Buy a book, read it, check your ball, bowl a few games. If it's not for you, ask within 15 days of the purchase. You get all your money back, and I won't ask why.
Every purchase gets its own 15 days. Buy two books on different days, and each one runs on its own clock.
Asking for it back
What's the simplest way to ask for my money back?
Three ways, so pick whichever's easiest. Click the refund link in the purchase email Hotmart sent you. Or log in at consumer.hotmart.com and pull up the purchase.
Or write to [email protected] and tell me the email you used to buy. That's it.
When you'll see it
How long until the refund shows up?
The money goes back the same way it came: to your card or your PayPal. Give your bank 5–10 business days; that's usually how long it takes to show.
The free week
Do I pay anything if I quit during the free trial?
The membership starts with 7 free days. Cancel inside those 7 days and nothing is charged. Not a dime.
Your first membership payment
Is the membership covered by the guarantee?
Yes. The 15-day money-back guarantee covers your first payment of the membership, just like a book.
Quitting the membership
How do I stop the membership?
Cancel whenever you like at consumer.hotmart.com. Open the membership, go to payment settings, and choose cancel subscription. Or write to me and I'll help you do it.
Your letters keep coming until the end of the month you've paid for. Once that month's up, the charges stop.
Forgot to cancel?
What if I forgot to cancel and got charged again?
It happens. Or maybe you got charged by mistake. Write to me within 15 days of that charge, and I'll look into it.
I can't promise a refund on a later payment. But I'll look at it honestly. Past months don't come back when you cancel, either.
Unsubscribing won't stop the bill
If I unsubscribe from the letters, am I done paying?
No, and this one trips folks up. Unsubscribing only stops the emails. The payment keeps going.
If you want the charges to stop, cancel at consumer.hotmart.com.
Past fifteen days
What if it's been longer than 15 days?
By then the guarantee window's shut. Still, if something's wrong, write to me anyway. I'd rather hear about it.
Where to write
Who do I talk to about my money?
Me. Write to [email protected], and put the email you bought with in the note.

Fair's fair. — Hank the Ball Driller
